Lauren Castillo

Lauren Castillo  is the illustrator of several wonderful picture books including What Happens on Wednesdays by Emily Jenkins and That's Papa's Way by Kate Banks. Her books have received starred reviews from School Library Journal, Publisher's Weekly, Kirkus and Booklist. She lives in Brooklyn, NY. Lauren's "Nana in the City" was a 2015 Caldecott Honor book.

Nancy Elizabeth Wallace

Nancy Elizabeth Wallace is an author/illustrator who uses cut paper art to create her illustrations. You can learn more about her, including more information on how she creates illustrations, on her website.

Lynne Avril





Lynne Avril is the illustrator of over 80 books for children, including the young "Amelia Bedelia" series by Herman Parish (Greenwillow Books), and the "Every Cowgirl Needs a Horse" series by Rebecca Janni (Dial Books). She won the Schneider Family Book Award from the ALA in 2011 for "The Pirate of Kindergarten" by George Ella Lyon. You can find out more at  lynneavril.com.

Lynne describes her dot, "My dot is actually a photo of the floor of my studio, under my drafting table. My art is covered with little dots and so is my studio floor! I LOVE splattering paint!"
