Christina Wilsdon

Christina Wilsdon is an author who writes books about animals, nature, and science. She started to write her first animal book in kindergarten--it was going to be about every single species in the world--but only got as far as the first sentence: "There are such things as lionesses." She did a better job finishing a comic book drawn in an old accounting ledger, called "Enjoy Your Life With Cartoons."

Today Christina finishes all the books she starts writing, such as For Horse-Crazy Girls Only (Macmillan, 2010), which is packed with facts about her favorite animal, Appaloosa to Zebra (CreateSpace, 2014), a book of poems about horses, and Bodypedia (National Geographic Kids, 2014), which is all about the human body. When she's not writing, Christina enjoys reading, birding, gardening, baking, and crafting. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, daughter, a dog, and two cats.
